Our History:

Gerald Dixon of Dixon Racing Supply got his start in racing nearly 50 years ago. During his  racing career, Gerald has made many innovations and contributions to stock car racing in the Kentuckiana area.

In the early sixties, while Gerald was racing in places like Richmond Raceway, Richmond Kentucky and Frankfort Raceway, Frankfort, Kentucky, he would leave home for the whole weekend. With this in mind, Gerald had to make sure he had extra parts, so he started carrying extra parts and other supplies with him to the racetracks.

Many of the other racers, when in need of parts, would either borrow or buy them from Gerald. As time went on, he found this to be a way to help pay for his racing. For several years this practice went on until it evolved into a major business and was moved out of his home and into a business setting in 1978.

Since then, Dixon Racing Supply has continued to prosper, due to the fact of Gerald's experience in racing and his sincere interest in his customers.
